From Kamakura with Love..........

The magical, enthralling world of Samurai swords & shurikens, sand, sunshine & saake', the mesmerizing warmth of effervescent, disarming smiles and above all the material charms and lethal arms the invincible Daibutsu, Amitabh Buddha, meditates majestically near the Pacific coast at Kamakura(Japan). This mighty Buddha statue has braved destructive tsunamis and quakes since its inception and it stays as it was in 1252 AD .Click on the pics, savour the beauty... enjoy !

  16. adbhut...PARA-PHYSICAL !
    ----------------------------
i was wondering if the angle of the statue at which it faces the waves and water has to do something...andwidth also play an important role....
    ------------------------------
though its my my normal response, otherwise with all my brains i believe it is PARA-PHYSICAL.

  18. Dear ABCD,
In fact there were two big Tsunamis and one massive quake as per the details mentioned on their literature and impact of Tsunami needs no introduction so i will say ur assumption about para-physical is right.
